Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has turned down a contract extension proposal from the club.
Kotoko reportedly proposed a 2-year extension deal, but the midfielder is reluctant to sign a new deal.
The midfielder is reportedly considering moving abroad after a long spell in the Ghana Premier League, having drawn interest from unnamed foreign clubs.
The former Medeama SC player has spent three seasons with the Porcupine Warriors and currently looks set for an exit.
Blay signed a one-year deal in January 2024; hence, his contract is set to expire at the end of January 2025.
Justice Blay has been integral to Asante Kotoko after transitioning from a midfielder to a defender. He has earned a call-up to the Black Galaxies following his exceptional performance this season.
