Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has climbed from the bench to score for Besiktas in their 3-0 win against FK Gaziantep in the Turkish Super Lig today.
The German-born player secured a transfer day loan move from Fiorentina to the Turkish side last week and trained with the club in the last couple of days.
In today’s encounter, KP Boateng started the match from the bench but was introduced in the second half where he replaced Adem Ljajic.
He displayed his quality and ended up finding the back of the net to help Besiktas cruise to a 3-0 win over FK Gaziantep at the end of the 90 minutes.
The two other goals were scored by Burak Yilmaz and Jeremain Lens to complete the resounding win.
After starting off life with Besiktas on a good note, 32-year-old KP Boateng will hope to continue in same form in subsequent matches to finally break into the starting eleven.
