Ghana defender Abdul Kadri Mohammed arrived in Vienna on Wednesday to start a fresh career with top-flight side Austrian Wien.

The centre back-cum-midfielder joined The Violets after warming the bench in Tuesday’s international friendly against Russia in Moscow.

Mohammed trained with his new teammates at Steinbrunn ahead of his debut.

Head coach Thorsten Fink must decide if the versatile player if fit to face Wolfsberger AC on Saturday in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old joined Austrian Wien on a four-year deal from Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold.
