Former Ashantigold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has attracted interest from Nigerian top flight side Kano Pillars following his impressive performances with Enyimba International.

The Ghanaian has emerged a subject of interest for the club from Northern Nigeria.

The former Black Stars goalkeeper confirmed interest from Kano Pillars, insisting he was allowed to speak with them.

“It is true that Kano Pillars are interested in me. They called me and I directed them to speak to my club,” he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

Fatau Dauda was Ghana's number one goalkeeper at the FIFA World Cup in 2014. He helped Ashantigold to the 2015 Ghana Premier League title before moving to Nigeria.
