Ghana Premier League team Karela United has named veteran coach Jimmy James Corbllah as their new head coach.
In an official announcement on Wednesday, July 17, the club revealed that they have signed the experienced tactician on a two-year contract.
“We are excited to announce the signing of Jimmy James Corbllah as our head coach on a two-year contract! Welcome to the club, Coach Corbllah, as we gear up for an exciting season ahead,” Karela United confirmed in a post on X.
This new appointment indicates that coach Abukari Damba has left Karela United after successfully guiding the team to safety at the end of the 2023/24 league season.
Two consecutive victories in the final matches ensured that Karela United finished 12th in the league standings.
Jimmy James Corbllah has previously worked with Inter Allies and Great Olympics.
