With the departure of Sinisa Mihajlovic as AC Milan coach now confirmed, the Rossoneri dressing room can look forward to much more peace and calm, according to TV presenter Melissa Satta.

The 30-year-old, who has been dating Rossoneri midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng since 2011, seemed pleased with Silvio Berlusconi’s decision to part ways with the Serbian tactician.

“You can only really speak about situations like this when they are behind you,” the showgirl told TV programme Tika Taka.

"But I believe that with [Cristian] Brocchi, the Rossoneri dressing room and atmosphere around the club will become a lot calmer and more tranquil.”

Satta did not appear to be the biggest fan of Mihajlovic, or indeed his selection choices, criticising his choices of late.

"Beforehand it was not like this at all, just consider what happened to [Jeremy] Menez,” she continued, referring to the Frenchman’s omission from the Milan squad for their tie against Juventus last weekend.

"Cristian is a great man, with him there will be much more serenity."

First up for the new Rossoneri coach will be a trip to face Sampdoria this weekend, with Milan desperately in need of a change of fortune if they wish to cling on to the hope of securing a place in Europe next season.
