Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng once again suffered racial abuse on his return to Italian football when he played for AC Milan in their friendly match against rivals Inter on Wednesday.

Boateng who has been training with the Rossoneri since the start of the season with the hope of securing a permanent return to the club suffered racial howls from sector occupied by the Inter fans.

The former Portsmouth man was made a FIFA ambassador against racism two years ago after suffering one of the worst forms of racial abuse two years ago.

He famously walked off the pitch with his Milan teammates following after furiously smashing a ball into the stands when he was racially abuse.

Efforts made to rid the game of such abuse however appear not to be effective as Boateng once more again was a subject of racial abuse on Wednesday’s game.

Milan are yet to lodge an official complaint against the abuse of Boateng who is not under contract at the club.

The Italian federation can however launch an inquest into the alleged abuse and could ban supporters or even punish Inter Milan once they are found culpable.
