Kevin Prince Boateng to be unveiled by Las Palmas today

Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng will be unveiled by Spanish La Liga side today after signing a one year deal with the club. GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Boateng signed a one year deal with the club after failing to secure a long term contract with AC Milan where he played last season.

He will be presented to fans of the club at 18.00 h Spanish time and this event will be free.

Las Palmas had fellow Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso on their books last season but failed to meet his price tag and have since lost him to Panathinaikos in Greece.

In what is a sign of seriousness towards getting his sliding career back on track, Boateng cut short his holidays to finalize the deal and join them for pre-season.

This will be the first time the former Schalke 04 man will be playing in the Spanish La Liga.

According to Spanish reports he will be giving enough playing time and with an option to extend the deal based on his performance.

The 29-year-old was born in Berlin Germany but has played in two different world Cups for the Black Stars of Ghana.
