Kevin-Prince Boateng wants to score important goals for Schalke

Ghana star Kevin-Prince Boateng is determined to repay the faith reposed in him by his Bundesliga club Schalke 04 by scoring goals.

Boateng was signed for 10 million euros from Italian giants AC Milan, and has scored six goals helping his team to fourth place on the league table.

He initially battled a career-threatening knee injury for the first half of the season but has been winning the fitness this year.

Boateng believes he is doing his best for the club at this moment.

“Schalke brought me here to score important goals,” Boateng said on Schalke TV.

Boateng’s recent purple patch of form will come as a major boost to Ghana for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil this June.
