Kevin recovers from minor injury

Ghana midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng is back to fitness after training with Schalke 04 without problems on Monday.

The 26-year-old failed to feature in Ghana’s 2-1 win over Zambia in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi on Friday as a result of a knee problem.

But the former Portsmouth player has quickly resumed training and will be available for Jens Keller’s side on Saturday when they take on Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga.

“Kevin-Prince is back in Germany and he's fit and good. He had no problems in today's training session,” says Goal Germany’s Hassan Talib.

Boateng made his Schalke debut last week Saturday after sealing a move from Milan a day before.
