Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant has urged the fans to be patient as he begins work at his new club.
The former Ghana international only commenced work as the new coach of the Phobians over the weekend.
Grant had previously worked with Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks before being named the substantive coach of Hearts of Oak last month.
He is tasked to mounding a formidable side capable of competing for laurels in the grand agenda of returning the club to its former glory.
And though Grant admits the club is on the right path, he has urged caution.
“The club is clearly heading into the right direction but it is important that we don’t get ahead of ourselves,” he said.
“These things take time and we need everyone to be patient as we work hard to return the club to its glory days.”
Hearts of Oak have not won the Ghana Premier League in almost a decade.
This has led to general apathy amongst the rank and file of the club of which the top hierarchy are trying to reverse.
