President of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grunsah says he is to be blamed for the team’s poor performances in the ongoing season.

The Kumasi-based club is yet to record a win in the 2019/20 season after match day eight.

Their recent result against Olympics in match day eight saw fans criticize the club mainly directed at the head coach.

According to Alhaji Grunsah the appointment of a foreign coach to head the club hasn’t yielded positive results but is confident the club will bounce back from their struggles.

"Sometimes expatriates who come to the team succeed but this time we have not succeed," Grusah told reporters in Kumasi.

He added; " But the coach has polished our strikes for us to get two goals today, I didn't attend a coaching course, that's why I brought him with money. I can't throw my money away."

"I blame myself not the coach, I will plead with our supporters and Asanteman that I won't disgrace them, In Sha Allah, King Faisal will revive”.

King Faisal will welcome WAFA to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on match day nine of the 2018/19 Ghana Premier League.
