Kumasi king Faisal will hold talk with former Asante kotoko midfielder Micheal Akuffu as they look to secure his signature ahead of their return to the Premier league.

Akuffu has been without a club since leaving Ethiopian topflight side Mekelle Ketema FC in 2017.

The player was previously linked with a move to Olympics but was surprisingly seen at King Faisal training ground last Wednesday.

Footballmadeinghana.com understands the player will hold a crunch talk with officials of King Faisal and could sign a deal afterwards.

The 33-year-old was a member of the Ghana team that reached the final of the 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

He has also had stint with Finnish side FC Popa, ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast and Al Ansar in Lebanon.
