Kings Palace, Sports X signs long term partnership

Division One side, Kings Palace FC, formerly known as Krystal Palace, has entered into a long term partnership with Japanese Sporting outfit, Sports X.

The partnership would see the Japanese outfit implement strategies, that would help promote the activities of the club, both on the local and international scene.

Mr. Daniel Boateng President of Kings Palace FC, was delighted with the partnership, as it would help open a new chapter for the club.

According to Mr Boateng, the partnership would encourage the players to put up their best, as they have the hope of making it, to the international market soon.

He was hopeful that, the long term partnership, would bring new direction to the club and Ghana.

Mr. Junichi Takahashi, Director of Sports X, said the partnership would bring positive impact on football in the country, as they seek to replicate some of their activities in Ghana, as was done in Asia.

Mr. Takahashi stated that, their long term plan for Kings Palace, was to help them gain promotion into the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in the shortest possible time, by using their expertise.

''It is our vision to be the keenest football club in this country, not only by training and strengthening our players but inculcating in them the true value of sports and camaraderie as well as gradually improving the environment such as fields and facilities,'' he said.

Odeneho Kwafo Akoto III, the Akwamuhene, is his address to the management of the team and players at a grand durbar at his palace, emphasized the urgent need to propel the club to greater heights.

The Akwamuhene, who doubles as the life patron of the club, tasked the team to make exploits on the local scene as well as on African continent in the next two years.
