Kingsley Boateng thrilled with NAC Breda win

Ghanaian attacker Kingsley Boateng is delighted his lone strike won the three points for NAC Breda at Dordrecht in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday night.

The 20-year-old decided the fate of the game when he struck in the last three minutes of the game at the GN Bouw Stadion.

Boateng, who joined Breda from AC Milan, confidently outmuscled two Dordrecht defender before rounding up the keeper to slot into the empty net to claim the maximum points for Breda and hand them their second straight.

“I’m glad I was able to get the winning and thus can help the club. I thought long that it would be a draw but luckily we grabbed points with few minutes left,” decision Boateng.

“In the first half we played with less intensity, they have had opportunities to hurt us. Duel went up and down. They had chances and we had chances. In the second half we came out more often, and I moved to play deeper. Their defenders were not so fast and that showed at the goal,” he added.

Boateng is playing his debut season in the Dutch top-flight and is tipped to explode.
