Kofi Manu ‘Blue Boy’ flirts with Asante Kotoko

Blue Boy wants to serve Kotoko Blue Boy wants to serve Kotoko

Veteran and Outspoken Ghanaian Football Administrator Kofi Manu has noted that it will be a huge privilege to get the opportunity to serve Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

According to him, there’s no way he will turn down a call from the Kotoko’s owner and life patron the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II, to serve the club.

Kotoko has been plagued with leadership problems in the last ten years with changes happening sporadically. These developments have had a trickle down effect on the playing body and coaches with stability a major problem.

Kofi Manu says just a call from the powerful Asante King will be enough as he cannot turn down a request from such a personality.

He told Sikka Sports, “I’m a traditionalist and there’s no way I will turn down a request from a chief and for that matter a big king like Otumfuo”.

“I will go on my knees when Asantehene calls me on the phone to come and serve Kotoko,” he added.

Kofi Manu has served in various capacities local clubs like Aduana Stars, Techiman City and AshGold SC.

He has also offered consultancy services to several clubs and federations both home and abroad.
