Former WAFA talismanic defender Konadu Yiadom has rejoined Hearts of Oak after an unsuccessful loan spell at Ukrainian club Kryvbas Kryvyi.

Yiadom, who moved to Kryvbas in August 2023 hoping for a permanent transfer, encountered significant challenges abroad.

Despite the opportunity, the stalwart central defender did not make any appearances for the Ukrainian side and was named on the bench only twice throughout the season.

Due to his limited playing time, Kryvbas Kryvyi decided against extending Yiadom's loan, leading to his return to Hearts of Oak.

Yiadom was spotted back in training with the Phobians at Pobiman on Monday, signaling his reintroduction to the squad.

The 24-year-old remains contracted to Hearts of Oak until June 30, 2025, having originally joined from WAFA and playing a crucial role in their MTN FA Cup victory in 2022.

Yiadom’s comeback offers him the chance to re-establish himself within the Hearts of Oak team and contribute to their upcoming campaigns.
