The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has decided to add some samba flavor to their continental squad with despite their rejection by former coach, Hans Dieter Schmidt.

According to JoyOnline, the Porcupine Warriors have included the Brazilian trio of Gleisson De Souza Ferreira, Fabio Louis Rodrigues da Silva and striker Uly De Castro Rodrigues in the club?s final squad for the 2005 African continental tournament.

Also to be enlisted is Burkina Faso striker Ali Ouadragou, formerly of Etoile Filante of the Burkinabe league.

Former German trainer Hans Dieter Schmidt dismissed the Brazilian players after a short trial stint with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The trio who featured for the first 45 minutes for the club in their goalless drawn international friendly match against the Under-21 side of Benin at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra failed to meet the expectation of the coach.

Schmidt told newsmen afterwards that he would not be offering the Brazilians a deal at Kotoko based on their performance.
