Kotoko Stranded At Mayanga Airport

Reports from Congo, Brazzaville say, players and officials of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been left stranded at the Mayanga airport in Congo for more than 4 and half hours as of 1700 hours on Tuesday.

Players, officials of Kotoko are in Brazzaville, Congo to honour the 2nd leg African Cup Winners’ Cup competition. According to Peace fm Sports Presenter Kofi Asare Brako, Passports of officials Pressmen and players have been seized by the Congolese officials who forcibly searched their luggage.

He said without the passports they cannot have assess to the Hotel made possible by the Kotoko officials to accommodate the team and officials.
