Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko have appointed Mas-aud Didi Dramani as their new head coach, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.

The national under-17 female coach takes over from Maxwell Konadu who leaves the post to concentrate on the Ghana assistant coach job.

Kotoko's management after various consultations settled on Dramani and is confident he is the right man to lead the team forward.

"Kumasi Asante Kotoko have settled on head coach of the national U-17 female team, Masawudu Dramani to take over from Maxwell Konadu," Kotoko's spokesperson Listowell Yesu Bukarson told MTNFootball.com.

"Management has done the needed checks on his background and we are confident that the UEFA licence A holder is the right coach to continue the kotoko agenda from where Konadu has left off.

"We are confident he will deliver. We therefore call on our teeming fans to give him the needed support as was accorded Maxwell (Konadu)."

Dramani has qualified the Black Maidens to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup finals in Azerbaijan this September.

He becomes the first confirmed appointment to the Kotoko's technical set up which is expected to see more changes in the near future.

"Management is embarking on a major restructuring at the technical direction of the club. Further changes will be announced duly," Bukarson added.

Dramani will take full control of the Porcupine Warriors after the World Cup in September.

He definitely has his work cut out as Kotoko attempts defending the league title and qualify the team to the Group stage of the CAF Champions League.
