Nothing is beyond Asante Kotoko and with adequate planning, sound finances and good performance, the club would be capable of recapturing its glory in Africa, Acting General Manager, Opoku Nti has observed.

He said management was steadily putting in place appropriate plans to ensure a successful campaign in Africa next year. Opoku Nti disclosed that, management was currently working on a marketing strategy to ensure that, Kotoko secure the financial muscle to wrestle with its competitors on the continent.

He however feared that, the long delay to the start of league could pose challenges to the team arguing that, more competitive matches would be helpful to the team.

“We need more matches to build cohesion. The delayed start of the league is worrisome but that is why we have been playing friendly matches” said Opoku Nti.

The General Manager maintained that, with the kind of recruitment undertaken and the hard work of the technical team, it would be dangerous for anybody to write Kotoko off in Africa next year”.
