Kotoko chief sure of group stage success

Asante Kotoko Executive chairman, Professor Kwame Kyei is sure his side will go through in the CAF Confederation Group Stage.

The Porcupine Warriors, who qualified at the expense of Cameroun’s Coton Sport over the weekend in Kumasi are pitted against ZESCO United, Al Hilal Omdurman and Nkana FC in Group C.

To the Kotoko boss, he and his management team will put their house in order to scale over the task ahead.

He mentioned after the draw that “We find ourselves in a group I think with determination, we will go through. That is not to say we will relent.

“I have tasked the technical team to correct any error that emerged in Sunday’s game. We will re-strategize as we strive for the ultimate.”

Kotoko qualified on a 5-3 aggregate.

The CK Akonnor men will open their group stage account with Zambia’s ZESCO United on February 3 away from home.
