Asante Kotoko defender, Patrick Yeboah has applauded head coach Maxwell Konadu after revealing that the gaffer is always honest with every player at the club.

The left-back joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 from Karela United with high expectations. Due to competition from Imoro Ibrahim, the defender has been limited to regular playing time.

In an interview with Kotoko Express, Patrick Yeboah opened up on how coach Maxwell Konadu has been open with him at the club.

Maxwell Konadu is an open person and he has been very frank with me since he took over the club.

“He took me to camp whenever I was around and always told me why I did not play in all the times that I was not part of the starting eleven”, the full-back said.

Having played in some of the big matches in the Ghana Premier League this season, Patrick Yeboah revealed that he has enjoyed the part he has played and is confident of improving his game under the Maxwell Konadu.

“I started in all of the big games and that spoke a lot about the level that he puts me. He is very open to my colleagues and me so we can only improve playing under him”, he added.

Yeboah featured in five matches for Asante Kotoko before the season was suspended because of the Coronavirus.
