Kotoko in desperate swoop for Odjer

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has set sight on seven players to augment his side and top on the list is Moses Odjer.

Dramani, who guided the Porcupine Warriors to their 22nd league title last season, wants to build a winsome unit as they prepare for the Caf Champions League.

The league champions would have to fend off competition from foreign clubs including Tottenham for the signature of the Ghana Under-20 star.

Other players on Dramani’s wish list are Christopher Bonney of UniStar Academy, Akwasi Donsu from Berekum Arsenals and Aminu Mohammed of relegated Real Tamale United.

Reports are also rife that the Kumasi-based club are also pursuing the signature of their former player Jordan Opoku who plies his trade with Berekum Chelsea and New Edubiase United’s Asiedu Attobrah.

Attacking midfielder Yahaya Mohammed who was loaned to Amidaus Professionals last season is a doubt to return to Kotoko, but Dramani is reported to have told management to retain him.
