Ex-Hearts of Oak midfielder, Charles Taylor has revealed his career sky-rocketed when he joined rivals Asante Kotoko.
The retired footballer spent a successful two-year spell with the Porcupine Warriors after crossing carpet from the side's sworn rivals.
Taylor helped the Ghanaian giants to clinch two domestic titles as well reaching the final of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2005.
And he has revealed joining Kotoko was the masterstroke in his career.
“Kotoko made me a better person, I became a successful footballer when I joined Kotoko,” he told Agoo TV.
“I use to rent a house during my time at Hearts but I was able to build a house and buy a car when I joined Kotoko.
“Supporters of the Club showered me with lots of gifts which always motivated me to play for the Club, so I will say my time with Kotoko was a success and don’t regret joining Kotoko.”
