Kumasi Asante Kotoko continued their winning spree in this season’s Ghana Premier League when they whipped Legon Cities FC 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoko came back from a goal down to beat the arguably the most branded team in the Premier League.

The win put the Porcupine Warriors at the summit of the league with maximum six points pending this weekend’s matches.

Legon Cities FC scored an early goal in the 10th minute through Papadopoulos Panayotis.

But Kotoko fought back and got the deserved equalizer in the 33rd minute through enterprising Augustine Okrah.

The Porcupine Warriors came into the second half hungrier and eight minutes into the half, speed star Emmanuel Gyamfi got the second goal with a low shot into the next.

Man of the match, Sogne Yacouba who made two assists again fed Emmanuel Gymafi to get the third goal of the night when he moved into the right channel to tap the ball home from close range.

Despite all the hype, Lego Cities FC have only one point from two matches.
