Asante Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu says he will gladly relinquish his favorite No 3 shirt for Ghana’s all time scorer Asamoah Gyan if he decides to join the club.

The former Sunderland striker who is a boyhood Kotoko fan, has been linked with a dream move to the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing transfer window.

Speaking to Kotoko Express App, Mudasiru discussed the matter and generously agreed to surrender his number to the Ghana legend.

“Asamoah Gyan is my senior man and so I will hand him the number-three jersey and won’t even wait for anyone to tell me to do so,” Mudasiru told Kotoko Express App.

“He is the one that all of us will be looking up to, so I will give it to him once he likes it.”

Gyan is currently unattached after he was released by Indian Super League side NorthEast United in January.
