Kotoko play Bofoakwa today

Kumasi Asante Kotoko fresh from their 2-0 demolition of champion club Accra Hearts of Oak last Sunday in the LG Top Four competition, engage Bofoakwa Tano in a friendly match at the Kumasi sports stadium on Wednesday, March 12.

A release signed by Mr Kwabena Akosah, Press and Public Affairs Officer of the club, said kick-off will be at 4 pm and the rates will be 10,000 cedis, 15,000 cedis, 20,000 cedis and 30,000 cedis.

The release said besides serving as a warm-up for Kotoko in their second round LG Top Four match against Accra Great Olympics in Accra on Sunday, the match had been arranged to help Bofoakwa prepare for the 2003 Premier league season which kicks off in April.

It said the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Kotoko believed that there should not be any tension and animosity among clubs and that is why the committee has set itself to engage in activities that will promote peace and unity on the soccer scene.

The committee believed that non-competitive matches would foster good relationship and friendliness among clubs. Kotoko, he said would also play similar matches against Brong-Ahafo United, Neoplan Stars and RTU.
