Kotoko have thus qualified to the one-eighth stage of the competition on a 4-1 goal aggregate.
Charles Taylor opened the scores for Kotoko in the 10th minute when he connected home a cross from Mark Adu Amofa after goalkeeper Pawumba Sijap in posts for the Cameroonians had failed to make a first time save.
The Cameroonians, sensing danger tightened their defence and marshalled forces in search for the equaliser but it was still Kotoko who were on top and nearly increased the tally four minutes later but Yusif Chibsah wasted the opportunity.
The Cameroonians nearly equalised in the 31st minute but they wasted the chance that came their way.
Chibsah atoned for his earlier misses when he made it 2-0 for Kotoko in the 64th minute.
Kotoko's substitute player, Obeng Darko sealed the doom of the visitors with the third goal five minutes later. The Cameroonians who were determined to at least find a consolation goal failed to find the net till Referee Patrick Pay whistled for the end of proceedings. 05 March 06
