Kumasi Asante Kotoko have given the clearest indications that head coach David Duncan will not be returning to the club after he was asked to step aside.
Duncan was asked to ‘step aside’ three weeks ago after the team lost its match week 6 game of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League game to Aduana Stars.
Since then the club has won it's last three games and some insiders in the club claim he is not returning.
“As it stands now we are not thinking of bringing him back to the team since it could derail our smooth performance in recent times”, a member of the Kotoko management is quoted by ghanasoccernews.com
Interim boss Michael Osei will get an opportunity to stake another claim at keeping the job when his side play New Edubiase this weekend.
