Ace broadcaster and President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah says he was not impressed with the club’s attacking machinery in their SWAG Cup encounter with Ashgold at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In that game, the Kotoko attack which led by Dauda Mohammed and Obed Owusu wasted glorious chances which were easier to score than to miss.

But at the end Kotoko managed to conjure magic by beating Ashgold 1-0 to win the 2015 edition of the SWAG Cup, a goal which was scored by a defender (Eric Donkor) from a set piece.

However, the ace broadcaster has expressed his dissatisfaction with Asante Kotoko attacking machinery judging from what he saw on the day.

“The side was tactically disciplined but Duncan needs to do a lot of work on their attack,” Kwabena Yeboah told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I watched a couple of their games last season and I saw their attack too in the SWAG Cup. I honestly think nothing has changed. A lot of work still needs to be done at the attack of the side,” he added.

Asante Kotoko’s top scorer in the 2014/15 league was Ahmed Toure who scored 14 goals in all competition which according to the writer, must be improved upon.
