Kotoko sign Rahim Ayew and Isaac Boakye

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have reportedly signed two former Black Star players Isaac Boakye and Rahim Ayew, fianalwhistlegh.com can confirm.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) sources revealed to finalwhistlegh.com that the club was able to beat the deadline by registering these two experience players on Monday afternoon.

Registration of players for the second round of the Ghana Premier League closes by 5pm today.

Isaac Boakye played for Arminia Bielefeld in the Budesliga and a host of clubs in the Germany second division.

The striker also made several appearances for the senior national team Black Stars during his playing days with Ashantigold in the domestic league.

Rahim who is the first son of legendary Abedi Ayew also returned to Ghana after a brief spell abroad. He was part of the Black Stars squad that reached the quarter finals of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
