Asante Kotoko stop-gap coach Michael Osei has slapped an astronomical $1 million price-tag on in-form striker Dauda Mohammed.

The Ghana U20 forward bagged a crucial hat-trick to fire the Porcupine Warriors to a comprehensive 4-2 win over Techiman City FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have openly declared their intentions of signing the Ghana U20 forward but Kotoko have bluntly stated the promising forward is not for sale.

But Porcupine Warriors head coach Michael Osei has made a u-turn on an initial decision and reveals the club could consider allowing Dauda leave the Baba Yara for a million dollar offer.

"I don't think they have what it takes to buy him [Dauda]. I am not aware of any local offers for him but I've heard there are interests from abroad. Kotoko will consider selling him for $1 million," he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

Dauda's hat-trick on Sunday ensured he ended the first-half of the Ghanaian top-flight season with eight (8) goals from 11 games for Kotoko.

He has scored a brace against Ebusua Dwarfs at the same venue, meaning he has five (5) goals from his last two games at the Baba Yara.
