Ivorian International, Ousmane Doumbia is believed to have agreed a deal with MTN FA Cup champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko. This is according to media reports.

The former Asec Mimosas player have been training with the Porcupine Warriors for 14 days now and in Steve Polack’s estimation, his output will help his team to go far in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup.

The 26 year-old midfielder currently plies his trade with Yverdon Sport FC is expected to have a taste of the Ghana Premier League after failing to secure a contract with sworn-rivals, Hearts of Oak last term.

Doumbia is expected to sign a three year deal in the coming days.

Asante Kotoko ended the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League 5th on the standings 42 points, a point adrift of Fourth-placed Ebusua Dwarfs.
