Kotoko to outdoor Ahmed Toure

Asante Kotoko will outdoor Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure in the ensuing days after the player successfully underwent medicals on Tuesday.

The ex-Lokeren player left Kotoko two seasons ago, having been slapped with an indefinite ban from the club for overstaying a compassionate leave.

Toure, a controversial dare-devil striker, has however, made a return into the fold of the Porcupine Warriors, agreeing to a three-year contract.

Samuel Opoku-Nti, General Manager of Kotoko, told GNA Sports in Kumasi, that the deal would tie the player to the club until 2017.

Toure is said to have received a signing on fee of 80,000 cedis.
