Robert Kpodo has shot into the summit of the maiden rankings of the Ghana Tennis Association (GTA).
Kpodo, winner of the Interplast Top 16 Masters held last week at the Accra Sports Stadium sits atop the rankings of players within Ghana.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates the ranking hinges on the performances of the players at the two qualifiers for the Interplast Top 16 Masters held in Winneba and Kumasi, as well as the final in Accra.
The ratings will also enable the players’ participation in tournaments organized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
Kpodo’s points haul of 420 places him way ahead of Raymond Hayford, a quarter finalists, who netted 330 points.
Third on the rankings is Albert Arthur, also a semi-finalist with 300 points whilst Pascal Ziyab trails with same points.
Losing finalist George Darko is fifth with 270 points.
