Former Black Stars assistant coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani believes that Mohammed Kudus is unlikely to remain at West Ham United for long, citing the player’s ambition and drive.

Dramani, who has a deep understanding of Kudus’ career trajectory from their time together at Right to Dream and FC Nordsjaelland, before his stints at Ajax and his current club West Ham United, has seen firsthand the potential that Kudus possesses.

The 23-year-old forward made a significant impact in his first season with West Ham United, netting 14 goals and providing six assists.

His performance has continued to shine in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, where he played a crucial role in Ghana’s victories over Mali and the Central African Republic.

Kudus was instrumental in the Black Stars’ 2-1 win against Mali in Bamako and their thrilling 4-3 triumph over the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Didi Dramani expressed his high expectations for Kudus, predicting a move to a top-tier club in the near future.

“It’s more challenging going into the second season. He is more motivated to give him more and more focused to do more," he told Asempa FM in an interview monitored by footballghana.com.

“It’s not West Ham that he wants to be at in the near future; he is very ambitious. I will not be surprised if he’s signing for one of the big clubs in the world.”
