Former President of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor, has urged for calm when two of the most glamorous clubs in Ghana, Kotoko and Hearts lock horns in a week 23 outstanding fixture slated for the Babayara Sports Stadium on August 6.
Sunday’s epic clash promises to be fascinating duel which lifted the tempo in both camps as they target to annex all three points which could boost their title pursuit, and more especially for Kotoko who will be playing their first competitive fixture after their tragic team bus accident some few ago.
According to the former President Kuffour, all stakeholders should prevent engaging in acts that will put the game into disrepute and further wished both sides well.
“All over the world today football is the number one sport, but we sometimes forget is just a game so we should ignore all issues which mars the game and lets make it beautiful.
“When you do that it brings happiness and a sense of belonging so I wish both sides well in the upcoming clash, ” President Kuffour said.
