The first of many prophecies predicted by Popular football soothsayer, Isaac Kwaku Gyan has been partially fulfilled following the disturbances that marred the matchday 3 league fixture between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea over the weekend.

Isaac Kwaku Gyan, about a month ago, in an interview on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM warned, that Asante Kotoko will attract a stadium ban because of what will happen on their third league game at home.

"Kotoko will not lose many games in the season but the many drawn games they will get will blow away their chances of winning the title but they should be careful that they will not face a stadium ban after matchday three," he said.

Matchday three encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea didn't only see Kotoko lose its first game in the ongoing league campaign but fans of the Porcupine Warriors were up in arms over a decision by the referee, which resulted in defender Empem Dacosta being sent off.

Police had it tough restraining the supporters who were enraged at what they described as poor officiating on the part of the referee when they began pelting stones and other missiles onto the field during the game.

The supporter who was caught up in a violent brawl after the club’s 1 – 0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea was hit by a rubber bullet fired by one of the police personnel detailed to offer security at the stadium and that worsened matters.

The injured supporter is currently receiving treatment at the Konmfo Anokye stadium and is said to be stable at the moment.

Meanwhile. the GFA is expected to hand a heavy sanction to Kotoko for the chaos and disturbances which marred the game in Kumasi on Sunday.
