"It's not just for the current generation, but also future generations. This is an investment in our collective football," he added.

He further took the opportunity to express gratitude to John Peter Amewu, the Member of Parliament for the Hohoe Constituency, for his decision and role to invest in the Hohoe Stadium project.

"On behalf of the FA, I want to thank you for this remarkable investment in Ghana football and for providing the foundation for young boys and girls to realise their dreams," he added.

This development is part of the GFA's ongoing efforts to enhance football infrastructure across the country, which is expected to positively impact the growth of football in the Volta Region and Ghana as a whole.

The Hohoe Sports Stadium has been anticipated for several years by the local community and sports enthusiasts. Although games are ongoing in the facility, it was officially commissioned on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
