Black Stars and Kuban Krasnodar midfielder Rabiu Mohammed says he is worried about the persistent injuries of Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah, insisting the talented midfielder needs prayers.

Kwadwo Asamoah sustained a serious hamstring injury which ruled him out of action for close to six months only to return two months ago.

The Black Stars midfielder featured for Juventus in their clash with Lazio but was sidelined again due to the nagging injury in their clash with Fiorentina.

And Rabiu Mohammed who played with Kwadwo Asamoah at Liberty Professionals admits he is really worried about Kwadwo’s situation.

“Kwadwo Asamoah’s injuries are very disturbing. He is one of the greatest footballers I’ve played with since our time at Liberty Professional. Whenever he is injured is a big worry to us,” Rabiu told Kumasi-based radio station Angel FM.
“I used to communicate with him, but whenever we are chatting, I get saddened and devastated because of the injuries that he normally faces. I’ve been facing same problems and I know how it feels to be injured,” he explained.

“Kwadwo Asamoah is a very nice and decent person in life. His play and lifestyle on and off the pitch is very good as well. His exceptional talent is magnificent and awesome.”

The former Udinese midfielder was ruled out of the 2015 Afcon played in Equatorial Guinea earlier this year due to the persistent injuries.
