Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has praised his Inter Milan teammates after their thumping win against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia.

The Nerazzuri's thrashed Cagliari 4-1 to progress to the next stage of the Cup competition.

Asamoah, who did not make the team for the day lauded his teammates for the victory, describing it as a 'great win.'

"Great team win!," he posted on Social Media.

Romelu Lakuku bagged a brace with Borja Valero and Andrea Rannochia adding the others.

Christian Oliva pulled one back for the visitors.

Asamoah could mark his injury return when Inter travel to Lecce on Saturday.
