Ghana and Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah has returned to the Ghana squad for next month’s 2019 AFCON qualifier against Kenya.
The 29-year-old midfield dynamo has not played for the West African powerhouse since June 2014.
But, he has told Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah he is now available for selection and the tactician has included him in his squad.
Asamoah reportedly cited multiple reasons for his Ghana absence including injuries and loss of club form.
He has made himself available after switching from Juventus to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.
He debuted for Inter on the opening weekend of the Serie A when they lost 1-0 against Sassuolo on Sunday.
