Swiss-born Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Duah delivered a standout performance despite Ludogorets Razgrad's heavy 7-2 defeat to Qarabag FK in the UEFA Champions League Qualification Round 3 on Tuesday evening.
Kwadwo Duah, who played for 102 minutes at the Huvepharma Arena, scored both of Ludogorets’ goals. Duah first netted a header in the 14th minute and then converted a penalty in the 24th minute. However, the former FC Nürnberg striker's efforts were overshadowed by a dominant Qarabag side.
Qarabag FK’s comprehensive victory secured them an 8-4 aggregate win and a spot in the Champions League play-offs. The scoring spree for Qarabag began with Juninho’s early goal in the 8th minute, followed by Yassine Benzia and Patrick Andrade, who both converted penalties. The goals continued with contributions from Toral Bayramov, Redon Xhixha, and another from Benzia.
Ludogorets Razgrad now shifts their focus to their upcoming league match against Levski Sofia on August 17th.
