Joint top scorer of last season?s Premier League Kwadwo Poku leaves for Hamburg SV in Germany on Monday for trials, King Faisal welfare manager Alhaji Khamil has revealed.
Alhaji Khamil, a son of the Chairman of King Faisal, Alhaji Grunsah made the disclosure in response to inquiries made by this paper about the status of the player, who had appeared at Kotoko?s training grounds on Tuesday.
The player?s visit to the city rival?s camp had generated lots of excitement in the camp of Kotoko that the junior international would don the red jersey in the upcoming season.
But Khamil shrugged that off, saying that he was aware that the player had gone to the training grounds of Kotoko ostensibly to visit his former club mates as the players of Black Meteors had been given a break on Tuesday.
He confirmed the arrival of Alhaji Grunsah, George Amoako, and Hans-Dieter-Schmidt from Germany today.
The three King Faisal officials have been in Germany for the past week on a business exploration tour.
