Former Ghana Football Association chairman who is currently a board member of Hearts of Oak had disclosed that their newly appointed commercial affairs manager, Kwaku Sakyi Quashie is currently on probation.
Mr. Quashie has been given a one year mandate to be in charge of commercial affairs for the club after a board meeting held in Friday June 2 at the secretariat of the club.
According to the statement released by the club, the commercial affairs manager will work closely under the supervision of the Executive Chairman but will be responsible for all commercial activities for Hearts of Oak as the club looks forward to building a strong and vibrant commercial department in the next phase of its growth.
But Dr Tamakloe revealed they have given him the mandate but he is on probation.
"We have appointed Mr. Quashie as the commercial affairs manager of the club because we know he is fit to do that job." He told Asempa FM.
"We have given him one year to work with us but he is on probation.
"We have structures as a club and I must say we are the best club in the country and we are the only club that is standing more firm than any club in the country.
"We will make sure we appoint a competent general manager for the club and we will make sure the person must know the in and out of the club and I believe with that, we will keep on getting better and better." He added.
