Kwame ‘Conte’ Bonsu has set his sights on winning the CAF Champions League with Tunisian outfit Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

The 24-year-old joined the three-time African champions in a reported four-year deal from Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.

According to the Ghanaian midfielder, he aims to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Harrison Afful who won the coveted trophy with the Blood and Gold.

In 2011, it was Afful’s solitary goal which won Esperance the CAF Champions League title against Wydad Casablanca in a 1-0 success.

“Harrison Afful has had his name here. He is remembered here with his famous Champions League goal“ Bonsu revealed in an interview on Nhyira FM.

“I am feeling comfortable with my teammates here at Esperance. My dream is to help the club to win the Champions League and play the club World Cup as well” he added.
