Striker Kwame Kizito says he will feature for Hearts of Oak if his proposed move to Swedish side BK Hacken failed to materialized.
The tall lanky forward contract with Hearts of Oak has expired and he has heavily been linked with a move to the Swedish top-flight side.
Kizito last week acquired his floating status but the Swedish club would have to pay the player’s training and development fees to the Accra giants, and that has delayed the move.
But Kizito has assured the Hearts of Oak family that he will play for the club if his move to BK Hacken hit a snag.
“An offer from BK Hacken has come and i’m waiting for it to go through if the move fails, i will play for Hearts of Oak,” he told Asempa FM.
When asked whether he is leaving Hearts of Oak because of financial gains, he said, “Playing the Ghana League is difficult, so if by God grace you get a lucrative contract outside you have to take your chances and go.”
Kizito was superb last season, he scored 11 goals in all competition. He played a key role as the Black ‘B’ team won the 2017 edition of the WAFU Cup.
