Kwame Kyei calls for calm over Akunnor's sacking

Executive Chairman for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr Kwame Kyei has called on the fans to remain calm over the recent changes at the club.

Few weeks after winning the Normalization Committee tier one league, kumasi Asante Kotoko have brought in Kjetil Zachariassen to replace C K Akonnor as the head coach of the club.

Eleven new players have also been signed to beef up the squad as the team prepares to compete in the CAF Champions League in August.

The current situation has prompted the fans to raised a lot of question as to which direction the club is heading to.

But in am attempt to calm the fans of the club , the Business mogul met some section of the fans at the club training ground and called on them to remain calm insisting the club is heading to the right direction.

“We have a very long way so I enthreat each and everyone to keep calm, I believe that, very soon we will be victorious”

“Not all that you do will be appreciated by some people so I’m not disturbed by that”

“Whatever you do , if people don’t criticise, then you are not on the right path”

“I will like to thank you for your patience and I believe at the appropriate time, everything will be okay”

The club has recruited 56 players since the appointment of Dr Kyei as the Executive chairman of the club.
