Businessman Kwame Kyei has been maintained at Asante Kotoko as chairman of a newly-constituted nine member Board of Directors.

The club's Executive Chairman had his three-year mandate expiring in December 2019 and submitted a report of his stewardship last month (April) but Manhyia decided to retain him.

Subsequently, a three-member committee was set up by the King's Palace to investigate the club's affairs and make recommendations.

Kyei will be assisted by Jude Arthur, who served as board member in 2013, the board chairman for Ghana Commercial Bank.

Tema-based businessman and two-time board member Alhaji Lamine has been called upon to service the Porcupine Warriors.

Former sports journalist Evelyn Nsiah Asare, who is now Director of Sports at the Sunyani Technical University is also part of the board.
